With customization options and integration with Add-Ons like New Task Assign and Invoice, Slack ensures teams stay well-informed and productive.
How To Install the Slack Add-On?
To Set Up the Slack Add-On you can follow this link: Setup Add-On.
How to use the Slack Add-On?
- Once you purchase the Add-On, navigate to the settings page, click on system settings, and find Slack Settings.
- On that page, once you enable the Slack Integration toggle you have to enter the Slack Webhook URL, with the help of which you can send messages via Slack.
- To generate theWebhook URL, you can follow this link: api.slack.com
- After you do this, you get a chance to choose the notification settings. Here is the way you can enable or disable the notifications of the various Add-Ons.
- You can customize notification messages language-wise, for example, if you want to change the message for new user notifications, you can do it here.
- For example, if you enable the create user setting from General, then the notification via Slack will be sent to that particular user when the user is created.
